Vara’s weekly live music series continues but in the comfort of your own home. Join us on the Vara Facebook page at 7pm on Wednesday evenings for an ever changing sound. Remember to stop by the tasting room to pick up your wine, spirits and food to go ahead of time so you can #varaathome in style! Vara has always supported local musicians and we are thrilled that we have found a way to continue that tradition during “stay at home” orders.

The Jazz Brasileiro duo performs both classic bossa nova and a wide range of contemporary Brazilian music. The collaboration highlights exquisitely crafted guitar lines and gorgeously haunting melodies sung in Portuguese and English. A performance by Jazz Brasileiro is a musical travelogue that features the historical underpinnings and roadside stops of Brazilian music’s “new wave”.
