VARA Winery

We are proud to be the only combined winery and distillery in New Mexico and to craft all our products here. Despite being the birthplace of the North American wine experience, New Mexico’s contributions are often overlooked. VARA seeks to reclaim this legacy, placing our state firmly back on the map.

We build intentional partnerships with growers, producers, and local businesses, fostering collaboration that enriches our communities. Through these alliances, we curate high-quality, approachable wines that evoke pride in New Mexico, strengthening our bonds and celebrating our heritage.

VARA Platinum

Made in limited batches from the finest grapes, these wines offer a VIP experience and celebrate luxury with every sip.

VARA Gold

A testament to the mastery of our blenders, these wines feature California and Spanish grapes and oak aging for a perfect balance of richness and complexity.

VARA Black

Crafted primarily with Spanish grapes and a shorter oak aging period, these wines offer a versatile elegance perfect for everyday moments.

VARA Silverhead Sparkling

These sparkling wines, crafted by Laurent Gruet using Méthode Champenoise, elevate any celebration or daily moment.

VARAxLG

These French-style wines, which showcase Laurent Gruet’s creative freedom, include traditional Méthode Champenoise sparkling wines and exquisite still wines.
